If you introduce your rattie correctly the person you are thinking of scaring may turn out to be a rattie woner and lover. I am one of those people that was so afraid of rats and mice I would freak out... and I mean freak out. Now, I have owned, bred and trained mice and ratties. I always had other small animals, and many other animals, but rats and mice just sent me. Be good to people and your own animals. Do not scare people with them.
